He said the rehabilitation and expansion of irrigable land project under ESP will enable the country to have long-term food security and urged the Italian government to partner with the Ministry of Agriculture to make the country self sufficient in food. The Vice President lauded the Italian government for granting the country 4.8 million Euros towards the funding of the public-private partnership in the health sector. Mr. Musyoka said the mutual cooperation existing between the two countries has made the Italian government to assist the Kenyan government in undertaking various projects citing infrastructure, water, sanitation, roads and energy.
